Quantity take-off

The data obtained from the Quantity take-off is used to generate a bill of materials which is a comprehensive list of all the materials required for the project, which is used to order the materials and to budget the project. Additionally, the data obtained from Quantity take-off is used to generate the cutting list which is used by the steel fabricator to purchase the raw materials and to cut the steel members to the correct size.
